RV Dishwasher install (12/16/20) Blog post 136

We decided to remove our Furrion Oven that does not work consistently, and replace with a dishwasher. We have kept the dishwasher on the counter for a few months until we would be at a park long enough to get the work done.

In November, Neil started phase l, where he capped off the gas line to the oven. Prior to starting this project he ordered a handeld gas detection device. It worked as it was supposed to, because it detected a leak. Neil was able to repair problem and no further leak was detected. He then ran the water lines across the back wall to the sink.

Phase II: Neil ran PEX tubing. The dishwasher now has pex tubing going from the dishwasher to the connection under the sink which will supply the water. The drain pipe is still external and runs along the back wall into the sink until phase III.

Phase III: still to come- running the drain pipe through cabinets and then connect to the rv plumbing.
