Freak Snow storm, Gunnison Colorado (9/7/20) A Summer to remember! Blog post 115

We had been watching the weather reports and it indicated that we might get snow. Oh boy was that an understatement! My cousin, who lives in Colorado Springs tried to forwarn us that we might want to leave a day earlier, but we did not heed her warning. At 5pm the park lost power. It was at that time we remembered that our generator is not working. It was so cold inside, but we had plenty of blankets and layers to keep us warm. We got so much snow, we had to cancel our reservation at Jellystone in Larkspur for that day and extend for 2 days.
