Blue Mesa Rv park and Gunnison, Colorado (8/30/20 to 9/10/20) Blog post 114
We had to leave the beautiful town of Ouray, Colorado and headed to the Blue Mesa Rv Resort in Gunnison, Colorado. This park is located across the highway from the Gunnison Lake. There is a nice Gazebo that overlooks the parks private catch and release pond and Gunnison Lake. The Wifi and cellular service is non-existent. If we wanted to make a phone call or check our emails, we needed to drive 11 miles to into the town of Gunnison. One day, we drove into Gunnison for Neil to see an optometrist. Coming out of the optometrist office we saw a couple of deer feeding on the trees at the optometry office. It was absolutely amazing to watch them.

We payed it forward. Yesterday when we arrived at our new park, Neil noticed our neighbor having a problem with their dog getting into their rv. She had cancer 4 years ago, but was left with very unsteady back legs. Neil told him how we lost all 3 or Goldens between 4-6 months ago and that ramp was the only way to get all of them into our 5th wheel. His dog has mastered the ramp in 1 day where it took our dogs weeks. There are 2 quad ramps zip tied together, choraplast zip tied to ramp and then a carpet placed for traction
