Freak Hail storm and broken vent cover (6/12/20) Blog post 79

Over the weather radio, an alert came that a freak golf size hail storm causing damage to vehicles was about 15 minutes out and sure enough it came when the reported. The hail storm was gone within 5 minutes but not before it dumped hail ice balls, about the size of peas, which is a lot smaller than reported.

It was not until the next morning when I was in the bathroom and looked up, I saw a piece of the plastic cover broken and sitting on the screen. Ironically sitting in our dining room is a vent cover we bought a month ago, just waiting for the best time and weather to cooperate.

Neil had to go up on the roof and repair the cover, of course with duct tape,  and install the vent cover.

Neil also installed our Rock Tamers. They look so awesome on the truck.
