Don't be a disrespective Rver- 3 separate issues (6/29/20) Blog post 89
1st issue:
The Rv park we are at is a very very nice park. Most all of the Rv sites have room on both sides of the RV's to allow for slides, with the exception of the row we were in. We were fortunate for most of the week not to have any other RV on our right side (east side), but as it got closer to the July 4th weekend, the park started to fill up quickly. We knew our neighbor was going to be close, but not as close as when I opened up our door and saw their slide right in our door way. He could have pulled forward or backward a little more so that he was not blocking doorway as our other neighbors did a few days earlier. It was our last day, we were leaving tomorrow, but when Neil tripped trying to get out of our RV, that is when I said NOPE, this is not going to do. I went and spoke with park Manager. I showed her the pictures, and explained that we are leaving tomorrow, but my husband tripped trying to get our of our RV. She looked at the picture, called her husband over and said "look at this, you need to go and talk to the person in the spot next to them and tell them they have to move!". He walked back to the site with me and said, let me see for myself. He took one look and said "Oh this is not acceptable". He proceeded over to our neighbors site. Within 45 minutes, the neighbor was packed up and moved across the way to a much larger and shaded site. I feel everyone was a winner in the end.2nd issue: Our 1st neighbor from several days prior was disconnecting and preparing to leave that morning. He was disconnecting his sewer hoses, and when he did he placed the sewer hose and connector on the picnic table until he was ready to put away. I wanted so bad to go out and say something, but I am not that person. I will from now on never sit or eat at a picnic table unless it has a tablecloth on it that I placed myself.
3rd issue: At a rv park in Cheney, Washington- a large family of 10 arrived in a travel trailer. The first day they arrived, you could not tell how many there were. They kept to themselves and were very quiet...until the next morning. They were all awake and making a lot of noise at 6:15 AM. Door opening and closing, people outside talking so loud. One of the older boys, was annoying the toddler in the high chair who would scream everytime the older boy would annoy him, and not one adult (which there were at least 5 adults) said or did anything. I went for a walk and when I returned at 8:30, they entire group appeared to have left for the day, only to return a couple hours later with the addition of 2 more people. Fast forward to next morning. It is 6:00am and they are all up and packing up. Not one person is showing any kind of common courtesy towards their neighbors. Fortunately for us, they are 30 feet from us, unfortunately for the other neighbor who is only 8-10 feet.
