Let the Downsizing begin: (9/2019) Blog post 2

Ok so the decision has been made.

In September 2019, we began to downsize. So many questions; Where do we begin? Which room do we start in? What do we get rid of? What do Tim and Allison want? What will fit in the 5th wheel? Will our bed fit in the RV? How will the dogs do or go in the rv?

Well downsizing a 4 bedroom house not so easy. In my head it was going to be a breeze.

I started in the easiest room in the house: Allison's room. The only problem was, that she left her 3 remaining Guinea pigs. Neil had built a special guinea pig cage on 3/4 of the East wall, that had to be disesembled and the guinea piggies had to be placed in cages in the dining room.

It took about a week to get Allison's room and bathroom completely cleaned and then I began on the office/exercise room. The hardest room to do was the man cave. Pictures says a 1000 words!
(Guinea pig cage is off the wall and now on floor until they get shipped to Allison in Alaska)

It took 3 months of daily cleaning before we were able to put the house on the market.
While the house was ready for showing, we had moved alot of stuff to the garage. When we weren't showing the house, we were in the garage trying to keep downsizing.
