KQ Ranch, Julian CA (3/8/20) Blog post 42

We traveled back into California today from Yuma, Arizona. The girls love being in the truck with us. We arrived at KQ Ranch in Julian, Ca. This park is part of our Coast2Coast plan. It is so nice an peaceful here. The park is quite big. We were assigned way up on the South hill overlooking the rest of the park. We were given a warning when we checked in that it gets extremely windy on the South ridge. She did not overexagerate. It was EXTREMELY WINDY!!!! We got to our pull thru site got out to unhitch to learn that we needed our heavy winter jackets, gloves and knitted hat to endure the cold wind. Neil said this site is only 30 amps.  Immediately across the way was a 50 amp backin site. Once we got permission to move, we hitched back up and moved into the other site, which was so much better anyways. Both girls loved exploring once we were set up.
