Canyon Creek Resort, Winters Ca (4/23/20 to 5/6/20) Blog post 58

Arrived at Canyon Creek Rv resort. It is a beautiful area, and right along the Putah river. You first pull onto the left (east) side of the street, walk across the street to register. The right side (west) of the street is where you register and is for members only pull thru 50amp FHU. Across the street on the East side is another area, much better in my opinion, because you have the putah river as your views. The downside of staying on the east side is that, there is only 6-7 sites with 50amp FHU. We were very fortunate to get one of those sites. Because of covid, they were only allowing the use of every other rv site. We were only 1 of 6 fulltime rvers on the east side.

Our resevation was for 7 days, but I recieved another cancellation due to covid. I was able to extend another 4 days with Canyon Creek.

I think so far that this is my favorite park. The putah river is amazing to wake up to (when the crazy crow doesn't) or just sit outside listening to the water. There are geese everywhere. We have been watching a baby geese grow before our eyes. There are lizards, snakes, and frogs, though I have not been able to see any frogs, just hear them.
