Bike accident on our new Radmini (5/24/20) Blog post 69
Neil found a biking trail on Alltrails app called Cathedral Hills trail system in Grants Pass. It started out really nice and easy. We followed the trails that were listed easy. We finished our first trail and I, of course was having a blast, I said lets keep going. Somehow I got us on a steep and treacherous path, I was going down this steep hill when I believe my front tire hit a patch of fine gravel and down my bike went. Once I hit the ground and stopped sliding, I realized I was pinned under the bike. I felt pain in my right hand, and left forearm. It was not until Neil finally made it to me, that we learned how pinned I was. I don't know how I did it but I managed to get the bike pinned onto my right thigh and my lower leg was pinned in another area. Neil tried to lift the bike off of me, but when he did it caused excrucitating pain to my lower leg. Neil told me that the only way was for me to slide back on my butt. I knew he was right, but that meant I would have to use my right injured hand to help. I was able to manage to get myself out as Neil lifted the bike at the same time. I was bleeding from my hand and arm. We had nothing with us to bandage my wounds and we still had at least a 20-30 minute ride back to the truck and we were still on a advanced bike trail. When we finally made it back to the truck, I told Neil, I never want to do that kind of biking trail again.
(This was a few days later)
